On Self-Control

Real self-control can only come to be once you have already acknowledged every single thing that lies within you, and yet have chosen to take only what you need from the vast plains and crevices of the self.

Real self-control comes with a degree of wisdom, as only the truly wise can know what they need.

Real self-control assumes the relinquishing of greed, as one must be free from the curse of accumulation to be to able to make choices independent from it.

Real self-control is the mastering of one’s own existence, and it takes much more work than what we have been led to believe.
